Peter Foss

Prior to founding Race Rock, Peter served as the CEO or President of several manufacturing companies which included Connecticut Engineering and Instrument Corp, Opticon, Foss & Bourke, and acted as the interim President of Farmesthetics for a major venture capital group. Peter also was a Managing Director for TecAcq Mergers and Acquisitions for seven years with offices in Los Angeles and New York. Peter's previous financial experience includes an officer's position at CitiBank and IBJ Schroeder’s Corporate Trust division. His broad scale experience and wide ranging industry contacts has led Peter to successfully consummate numerous M & A transactions for more than a decade. Peter has represented companies specializing in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, distribution and technology making him a leader in middle market transactions. Peter is a graduate of the University of Colorado where he studied business and economics and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for several privately held companies.

Craig F. Knight

As a senior member of the Race Rock Capital team, Craig brings a wide range of experience in corporate law, investment banking as well as founding, managing and selling several start-up companies. Craig's operational background includes acting as the CEO of Protean Electric, an innovative VC clean tech company producing in-wheel electric motors for electric and hybrid vehicles. Craig also co-founded the boutique investment banking firm, Knight, Tallman & Company, LLC, with offices in New York, Atlanta, London and Zurich, that raised over $2.5 billion in equity and invested in over $13.5 billion in infrastructure transactions.

Craig's educational background includes a BA/MA degree in Law from Oxford University and an LLM degree in Corporate Law from New York University.

Edmund A. Moulton

Ned brings over 25 years of experience in the financial industry to the Race Rock team. He started his career at Bank of New York, structuring and implementing credit facilities for Fortune 1000 companies in the Southeast and Southwest U.S. Subsequently, Ned directed his focus on capital formation. Having developed a wide network of capital sources, he successfully financed more than 35 (i) early stage companies, (ii) businesses on the small end of the middle market and (iii) proprietary investment funds. In total, Ned has been responsible for bringing over $500 million to these businesses. Ned most recently spent more than nine years at Guggenheim Partners in various capital raising capacities. In addition, Ned has contributed his insight as a board member of several small businesses and has served as CFO of an internet game developer, Bottle Rocket, that was sold to a publicly traded company in 2000. Ned received his B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College in 1986.

Andrew J. Vallance

Prior to Race Rock, Andrew held various Engineering and Business Development roles at VC-backed tech companies, including Protean Electric (which Andrew represented as a Technology Pioneer at multiple World Economic Forum Events). Andrew has experience with introducing innovative designs/ products to market and helping companies to grow through B2C, B2B and JV routes. Andrew has varied additional experience including company strategy, product launch, investor relations, fund raising, financial modeling, contact building and raising public/ industry awareness. He has built partnerships and worked with investors in the US, Europe, Middle East, Asia and has assisted in raising over $160 million in direct investment with $245 million of additional investment offers. Andrew has also provided Strategy and Business Development advisory/ consulting services to a range of companies in a diverse selection of industries: communication & collaborative working technologies, healthcare & wellness, water treatment, fashion & costume design, online gaming & education, automotive, clean tech, and financing services. Andrew has both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Engineering Design & Appropriate Technology from Warwick University.

Tod Evers

Prior to joining Race Rock, Tod was the president and founder of Mystic Road, L.L.C., a  consulting & financial advisory firm located in Mystic, CT. Tod’s concentration has been on the structuring and implementation of private capital raising transactions including equity, debt and mezzanine facilities for both domestic as well as international mid-cap clientele. Tod has arranged financing through a comprehensive network of accredited lenders & institutional investors including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, venture capital firms, specialty loan companies and offshore entities. He has acted as financial counsel in evaluating strategic merger & acquisition alternatives, preparing confidential offering materials and executing all aspects of a deal to close. His experience in the field of finance spans more than twenty years and has included director positions with Kendrick, Pierce & Company as well as McTeague Investment Bankers, Inc. Tod received his MBA in International Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his BA in Finance and Spanish from Hartwick College. He currently resides in North Stonington, CT.

Samuel Nitka

In teaming with Race Rock, Sam brings over 17 years of real estate experience concentrating on large scale commercial developments and finance both nationally and internationally. He has raised an excess of $1 billion throughout a network of public as well as private institutions stretching throughout the continental United States, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Albania, Hungary and the Middle East .  Sam has established numerous entities over the course of his career and his titles include President of Hilton Capital and the Crown Equities Group (private finance) and President of Autosafe (medical research products). Sam currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.

William A. Reed

William Reed joins Race Rock Capital with a 30 year background in Federal, Department of Defense (DOD) and international program management and business development.  Bill has held a variety of senior management positions in both large and small businesses.  Highlights of his career include officers positions with Singer Link Flight Simulation, Link Flight, CAE, Analysis & Technology Intl. Inc. and Alaska Native Technologies.  Bill brings us extensive experience in Government contracting, DOD program management, business development and corporate acquisition from the sell side.  He is a graduate of Stanford University, a former Naval Aviator and resides in Mystic, CT.
